IN ERA+ × RMD 1/72 Fenrir — A New Heavy Frame Enters the Field
IN ERA+ and RMD (Real Minutia Designs) have revealed their first collaboration in the 1/72 scale category — Fenrir. Designed as a high-density, heavily articulated mechanical frame, Fenrir marks the opening entry of the RMD 1/72 plastic model line.
At the moment, there is no official written announcement from IN ERA+. What we have instead are complete product photos, detailed spec visuals, and video materials — and honestly, those already tell a very clear story.
Complete Model Overview
Fenrir features a tall, aggressive silhouette with layered armor construction, exposed mechanical structure, and a distinctive tail-mounted blade system. The proportions and surface detail are clearly designed with close-up display and mechanical appreciation in mind.

Design & Engineering Highlights
Design & Engineering Highlights Video
Below are selected specification visuals provided by IN ERA+. Each image focuses on a specific design or mechanical feature. Explanations are added in English to help builders understand what the design is doing — not just how it looks.
Core Structure & Modular Assembly
The core body uses a segmented internal frame that allows the upper torso, waist, and hip sections to move independently. This structure supports wide posing angles while maintaining a stable center of gravity.
Shoulder & Upper Arm Articulation
Multiple linked joints are built into the shoulder block, allowing synchronized movement between shoulder armor and arm rotation. This reduces visual gaps while posing and keeps the silhouette intact during action stances.
Leg Frame & Lower Body Mobility
The thigh, knee, and ankle assemblies use layered joint construction. Internal linkages help preserve armor alignment while allowing deep bends and grounded stances.
Tail Weapon System
Fenrir’s tail-mounted blade is not just decorative. The segmented structure allows directional movement and multiple display angles, functioning as both a visual anchor and a weapon platform.
Primary Armament
The main blade and rifle systems feature transformable or expandable elements, as shown in the spec visuals. These parts are designed to shift between compact and deployed states, enhancing display variety.
Scale & Presence
At 1/72 scale, Fenrir stands approximately 27 cm tall, making it significantly larger than standard 1/72 military kits. The scale is clearly chosen to emphasize mechanical density rather than miniaturization.

From Ah Chong
This is one of those kits where the design does the talking. Even without an official text announcement, the structure, articulation planning, and surface treatment already show how serious this project is. If you enjoy mechanical frames with real presence and engineering depth, Fenrir is worth a close look.
The Designer video shows us some solid points.
