Modoking has revealed one of their most exciting releases — the 1/12 Batman Tumbler & Batpod Camouflage Set, officially licensed by DC and co-developed with YuanYe Culture. Fans of The Dark Knight Rises will recognise this version instantly: the Bane-commandeered Tumbler, repainted in desert camouflage and backed up by a matching Batpod.
For collectors and builders who love realistic vehicle models, this 1/12 pre-painted kit is a very interesting addition to the shelf.
Overview
This set recreates the camouflage Tumbler and Batpod from The Dark Knight Rises in Modoking’s 1/12 pre-painted assembly format. Major parts come molded and painted in the movie-accurate desert camo scheme, so you can focus on building and detailing instead of full repaint work.
The kit is designed for display and play: opening hatches, moving fins, LED lighting and a booster effect part are all included. A new undercarriage structure also allows the Batpod to be stored under the Tumbler, recreating the on-screen deployment gimmick.

This is one of the more interesting Modoking releases so far. The Tumbler has always been iconic, but the camouflage version immediately brings back the chaos and tension from The Dark Knight Rises.
Having the Batpod in the same box, plus LEDs and a full camo finish, makes this set feel like a complete display piece out of the gate. You can build it straight from the box, or go further with weathering and panel lining if you enjoy detailing.
If you’re into DC vehicles, 1:12 scale cars, or just love Nolan’s Batman trilogy, this is a solid centrepiece candidate for your shelf.
