Overview

MG 1/100 Gundam Avalanche Exia Dash is a Premium Bandai Master Grade kit based on the heavily equipped Gundam Exia variant from Mobile Suit Gundam 00V: Battlefield Record.

The kit adds the Avalanche equipment across the shoulders, arms, backpack, and legs, giving Exia a much heavier and more mechanical silhouette. The additional Dash units mounted around the lower legs can be deployed into a high-mobility configuration designed to represent rapid acceleration and close-range combat movement.

Its equipment system also provides multiple mounting points for Exia’s weapons. Builders can display the model with the additional armor fitted, deploy the Dash equipment for a more aggressive silhouette, or arrange the included swords and beam weapons across the body and backpack.

DeToyz Note

MG Gundam Avalanche Exia Dash is a very different display piece from the standard MG Exia. The added armor transforms the slim close-combat design into something much heavier, faster-looking, and more experimental.

The main appeal is the amount of equipment. The shoulders, arms, backpack, and legs all gain additional mechanical layers, while the weapon-mounting system lets you arrange Exia’s swords across the model instead of keeping everything in a simple handheld pose.

This is not the easiest MG Exia variant to pose because the extra equipment adds weight and can reduce movement around some joints. The included green display base is therefore especially useful. For collectors who like the Gundam 00V designs or heavily upgraded Exia variants, however, it has much stronger shelf presence than the standard release.
