Overview

HGUC 1/144 Xi Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway is now available in model kit form.

Based on the latest artwork supervised by Hajime Katoki, this kit recreates the massive 26m-class mobile suit in 1/144 scale with impressive density and volume. The proportions are carefully engineered to maintain its distinctive silhouette while delivering fine surface details across the armor.

The kit features transformable elements that allow conversion from MS Form to Flight Form. The rear wing units, leg-mounted blades, and Minovsky Flight Unit are all articulated to reflect the on-screen transformation sequence.

Weapons include a beam rifle, beam sabers, and shield. The shield attaches by removing the hexagonal arm part and mounting it securely in place.

Xi Gundam is not a small 1/144 kit. When placed next to standard HG kits, the size difference is obvious.

The transformation mechanism is handled in a practical way without becoming overly complicated. For those who prefer clean builds without too many fragile parts, this version strikes a good balance.

If you want something that looks substantial even in HG scale, this is one of the better choices.
