Overview

RG 1/144 God Gundam brings the main mobile fighter from Mobile Fighter G Gundam into Bandai’s Real Grade lineup with an intense focus on movement, balance, and martial-arts style posing.

Unlike many Gunpla kits that focus mainly on armor panels or weapon loadout, God Gundam is designed around body motion. The frame uses a wide range of articulation points across the neck, shoulders, chest, waist, hips, knees, ankles, toes, and hands, allowing the model to recreate fighting stances, aerial kicks, folded-arm poses, and the famous God Finger attack.

The kit also includes God Slash parts, expressive hand parts, a Core Lander, Sun Wheel effect parts, and Realistic Decals. For builders who enjoy dynamic posing, this is one of the most expressive RG kits in the 1/144 lineup.

RG God Gundam is one of the most expressive Real Grade kits Bandai has released. The main appeal is not just the part separation or detail, but how naturally the model can move. It feels closer to posing an action figure than a typical 1/144 Gunpla kit.

The shoulder, waist, leg, toe, and hand articulation all work together to recreate the energy of Mobile Fighter G Gundam. Fighting stances, folded arms, ground-contact poses, and God Finger poses are where this kit really shines.

For builders, this is a satisfying kit even as a straight build, but it rewards careful finishing. Panel lining, Realistic Decals, and a matte or semi-gloss top coat can make the compact RG detail stand out. If you want to display it properly, an Action Base is strongly recommended because God Gundam looks best in motion.
