At 127mm in total length, the Blockade Runner is slightly larger than the standard Vehicle Model starfighters, offering even more opportunity for detail. The hull is covered with intricate molded panel lines and surface textures, providing a realistic look despite its compact size.

The kit includes a dedicated display base, allowing for stable in-flight presentation. Marking seals add finishing touches, and as with all Bandai Vehicle Models, the kit uses snap-fit assembly, making it quick and glue-free to build.
