RG Nu Gundam

Overview

Build Amuro Ray’s iconic mobile suit with the Bandai RG 1/144 RX-93 Nu Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack. Also known as ν Gundam, this Real Grade model combines its distinctive asymmetrical fin-funnel silhouette with a detailed internal frame and layered armour.

The appeal goes beyond surface detail. Pull-out shoulder joints, an articulated torso and sliding leg armour help the completed model move naturally into weapon-ready and kneeling poses. With six fin funnels, a beam rifle, bazooka, shield and two beam sabers included, there are plenty of ways to recreate Nu Gundam’s appearance in the film.

Key Features

• Six articulated fin funnels: Connect the funnels into the signature backpack array or detach and fold them into their firing configuration. Separate supports are required for airborne funnel displays.

• Multi-tone armour: Subtle light-grey shades break up the white armour, adding visual depth through colour-moulded parts.

• Flexible upper-body movement: Pull-out shoulders and articulated abdominal joints provide more freedom when positioning the arms and weapons.

• Linked sliding leg armour: Armour panels move with the leg joints, allowing deeper knee bends and natural kneeling poses.

• Detailed internal frame: An assembly-built frame provides mechanical detail beneath the exterior armour.

• Opening panels and cockpit hatch: Small opening sections across the body add inspection-style display options.

• Varied weapon loadout: Switch between rifle, bazooka and close-combat poses, with separate beam sabers stored at the backpack and left forearm.

DeToyz Note

This kit suits builders who want both mechanical detail and room to experiment with poses. The fin-funnel array gives Nu Gundam its recognisable silhouette, while the sliding armour and articulated frame reward closer inspection. Pair it with RG Sazabi for a Char’s Counterattack display, or let it stand on its own with the full equipment set.
