A Look Back: 2024 Trophies
Last year’s DeToyz Plamo Contest trophies had a crystal and wood design that stood out for its premium look. Each piece combined a solid wood base with a tall crystal block, inside which we embedded a 3D Gunpla figure.
That small detail made the trophies truly special — not just an award, but a showcase of the hobby itself. It symbolized precision, craftsmanship, and the spirit of Gunpla building.
Introducing the 2025 Trophy
For 2025, we wanted to emphasize something different: recognition.
This year’s design takes the form of a certificate-style plaque with a medal. On the wooden plaque, you’ll see the words “Certificate of Recognition”, the official title of Best Plamo Builder Award, and a space for the Founder’s signature — a reminder that this award is not just about winning, but about being formally recognized for your effort and creativity.
At the center sits a gold medal (YG002 design), making the award feel both official and honorable. It’s the kind of piece you can proudly display, knowing it represents your achievement in a meaningful way.

Why We Change the Design Every Year
At DeToyz, the Plamo Contest trophies are never just prizes. Each year we design something new, making every trophy a unique part of the contest’s history.
