A Quiet Close to 2025

A year end pause before moving into 2026.

As the year comes to an end, the shop is moving into its final operating week of 2025.

This period is usually a slower one — time to tidy up the workbench, make small adjustments around the space, and pause briefly before the next cycle begins.

With Christmas behind us, the shop is moving through its final operating days of 2025, and will close again from 29 December to 1 January.

The shop will reopen on 2 January 2026.

It’s a natural moment to slow down and take stock of the year as it was.

Looking Back at 2025

2025 was a year focused more on refinement than expansion.

Much of the time was spent adjusting how the shop operates — both online and offline — and clarifying what deserves attention moving forward. This included ongoing work on the website, product presentation, documentation, and content, as well as rethinking how tools, accessories, and practical building support fit into the overall direction.

Some changes took time to settle. Others became clearer as the year progressed.

Overall, the shop moved at a steadier pace, with an emphasis on structure and continuity rather than speed.

Keeping the Space Active

The year also included moments of gathering and interaction.

There were a few small events along the way — a modeler’s meetup, the DeToyz Plamo Contest, and a quiet year-end chill session. These were not large-scale events, but they helped keep the space active and grounded in its original purpose: building, sharing, and enjoying the process together.

These moments reinforced the idea that progress doesn’t always come from doing more, but from staying present and consistent.

Moving Forward with More Clarity

Going into 2026, the direction feels more defined.

The focus will remain on:

continuing to improve the online store experience
placing more emphasis on tools, accessories, and everyday building needs
documenting work and projects more consistently
keeping the shop approachable, functional, and steady

Rather than introducing major changes, the aim is to build on what is already in place — refining systems, improving clarity, and moving forward at a sustainable pace.

Progress doesn’t need to be loud to be meaningful.
