Overview
The VF-31E Siegfried (Chuck Mustang Use) from Macross Δ joins Bandai’s latest HG Macross lineup — refreshed for the series’ 10th anniversary.
This release features the signature Shortcut Change (差替三段変形) system, giving you clean and stable transformation between Battroid, Gerwalk, and Fighter modes without the stress of overly complex engineering. Despite the simplified parts swapping, each mode stays true to the original design silhouette.
Insert molding is used on key areas, making the color separation crisp right out of the box. The kit also includes multiple figures (Chuck, Walküre seated, and Reina in her stage outfit), plus the radome equipment unique to this variant.

The Shortcut Change system really makes a difference — you get the full three-mode experience without worrying about fragile joints or overly complex steps. Chuck’s radome unit gives the VF-31E a very different silhouette from the other Siegfrieds, and the included figures are a nice bonus for display. If you’re collecting the entire Delta Platoon in HG form, this is an easy pickup.
