Overview

Build Shinn Asuka’s signature mobile suit with the Bandai MGSD Destiny Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY. This Gunpla kit combines Super Deformed proportions with Master Grade engineering, bringing together a detailed internal frame, articulated wings and Destiny’s extensive weapon selection.

The included Wings of Light effects give the finished model an expansive silhouette. Multiple wing joints let you adjust their spread, creating a dramatic backdrop for sword attacks, long-range firing poses and close-combat displays.

MGSD-specific mechanisms add more detail to the weapon handling: the Arondight Beam Sword features a blade-extension gimmick, while the High-Energy Long-Range Beam Cannon has a deployable barrel. A beam rifle, physical shield, beam shield and long and short beam boomerang effects provide several ways to equip and pose the model.

Things to Note

• This is an unassembled plastic model kit.

• MGSD uses non-scale SD proportions; it is not a conventional 1/100 Master Grade model.

• Standard assembly uses snap-fit parts and does not require glue.

• Molded colors provide the basic appearance. Painting and panel lining are optional finishing steps.

• Real Metallic Gloss Injection describes the finish of the molded plastic parts, not die-cast metal components.

• Wings of Light are included, but a display stand is sold separately.

• Allow extra shelf space for the deployed wings and effects. The full spread can exceed 40 cm depending on positioning.

• A compatible Action Base is recommended for supported flight poses, particularly with the wing effects attached.

MGSD Destiny is a good choice if you enjoy changing a model’s equipment and pose after completing the build. The sword, cannon, boomerangs and shields offer distinct display options, while the included Wings of Light bring the whole arrangement together.

Its body is compact, but the fully equipped display needs room. Plan your shelf space and display base around the expanded wings to make the most of Destiny’s silhouette.
