Bandai Gunpla Plastic Model Kit - MGSD Destiny Gundam

Overview

MGSD Destiny Gundam is the fifth release in the MGSD line, combining SD proportions with Master Grade-level detail and engineering.

This kit delivers the signature weapons and effects of Destiny Gundam in a compact format, including the Wings of Light, making it one of the more visually impactful MGSD releases.

The Arondight Beam Sword and the High-Energy Long-Range Beam Cannon feature MGSD-exclusive gimmicks, allowing blade extension and barrel deployment. The wings are built with multiple articulation points and can be fully expanded, with effect parts included to recreate the Wings of Light.

Additional weapons such as the beam rifle, shield, and beam shield effect are also included. The beam boomerang can be detached from the shoulder armor, with two types of effect parts provided.

The Palma Fiocina palm cannon is detailed using metallic silver parts, and the internal MGSD frame structure ensures smooth articulation despite the SD scale.

MGSD Destiny is one of the more complete releases in the MGSD line.

The Wings of Light and the weapon gimmicks give it strong visual presence even though it is SD scale. The internal frame also makes the articulation feel closer to a standard MG rather than a typical SD kit.

If you want something compact but still visually impressive on display, this is a good option.
