Overview

30MF Monster Hunter Wilds Arkveld Equipment – Arkvulcan Series – brings equipment inspired by the flagship monster Arkveld into Bandai’s customizable 30 MINUTES FANTASY model-kit format.

This complete collaboration kit includes an articulated Silhouette base body together with the armor and weapons required to perform a Job Change into the Arkvulcan-equipped Hunter. Known as the Schwalca Series in the Japanese version, the armor translates Arkveld’s pale shell, heavy fur and distinctive organic details into a fully poseable plastic model.

Its signature weapon is the Chain Blade Switch Axe Perceval. The weapon transforms between Axe and Sword modes without replacing parts and can also be arranged in its stowed configuration. A knife, deployable Slinger and Action Base 6 are also included, providing everything needed for varied hunting and combat displays.

DeToyz Note

This is one of the most substantial 30MF releases announced so far. It combines Monster Hunter’s recognizable equipment design with the articulation and customization system that makes 30 MINUTES FANTASY enjoyable to build and modify.

The transforming Switch Axe is the main attraction. Being able to change between Axe and Sword modes without replacing parts gives the finished model much stronger play and display value, while the included Action Base 6 helps manage the weapon’s size and weight.

It should also display especially well alongside the separately sold 30MF Monster Hunter Wilds Rathalos Equipment – Rathalos Series –, allowing collectors to begin building a complete Monster Hunter hunting party in the 30MF format.
