Overview

HG 1/100 VF-25F Messiah Valkyrie (Alto Saotome Custom) is part of the new HG Macross model kit series, designed to balance ease of build, articulation, and transformation.

The kit features a simplified transformation system called “Shortcut Change”, which uses selective part swapping to make the transformation process more manageable. This allows smooth switching between the three iconic forms:

  • Battroid
  • Gerwalk
  • Fighter

By simplifying the transformation mechanism, the kit achieves better proportions and stability across all modes, while remaining accessible to build.

The articulation is optimized for posing, with pull-out shoulder joints, a 3-axis torso, and flexible wing mechanisms that adapt depending on the form.

Additional details such as the opening canopy (with polarized molding), deployable landing gear, and weapon storage features enhance the overall display options.

Multiple pilot figures and character figures are included, adding more display possibilities.
