Overview

HG 1/144 Graham’s Union Flag Custom is a High Grade Gundam 00 model kit based on the custom Union Flag piloted by Graham Aker in Mobile Suit Gundam 00.

Unlike standard Gundam-type mobile suits, the Union Flag has a slim aircraft-inspired frame, long limbs, and a lightweight silhouette. Graham’s custom version features a darker color scheme and a distinctive ace-pilot identity, making it stand out from the regular Union Flag and Over Flag units.

The kit can transform between Mobile Suit mode and Flight mode, giving builders two different display styles in one compact 1/144 kit. It also includes the Trial Type Linear Rifle, Defense Rod, and Sonic Blade for recreating Graham’s high-speed combat style.

HG Graham’s Union Flag Custom is a good example of why the Gundam 00 lineup is interesting beyond the Gundam units themselves. The Union Flag design feels more like a transformable aircraft-mecha than a traditional mobile suit, and Graham’s custom color scheme gives it a sharper ace-pilot identity.

As an older HG kit, it is best enjoyed as a classic 2007-era build rather than a modern high-articulation release. The transformation into Flight mode is still the main appeal, especially when displayed on an Action Base.

This kit works well for collectors who want to build out the early Gundam 00 world around Celestial Being. Displaying it opposite HG Gundam Exia gives a simple but meaningful Graham versus Setsuna setup.
