Overview

Take flight with Kira Yamato’s ultimate mobile suit in the MG 1/100 ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam, based on its appearance in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny.

Designed for overwhelming mobility and multi-directional firepower, the Strike Freedom combines its distinctive white, navy blue and red armour with an exposed gold-coloured internal frame. Its enormous Super DRAGOON Mobile Weapon Wings give the completed model an unmistakable silhouette and make it a commanding centrepiece in any Gundam SEED collection.

This Master Grade release features linked wing deployment mechanisms, sliding wing sections, articulated leg armour and a wide selection of signature weapons. The included dedicated display stand supports aerial poses and helps showcase the Strike Freedom with its wings fully expanded.

Things to Note

• This is the standard MG Strike Freedom Gundam, not the separately released Full Burst Mode or MGEX Strike Freedom Gundam.

• The standard edition uses gold-coloured moulded frame parts. It does not include the additional gold-coated parts found in the Full Burst Mode edition.

• Individual DRAGOON display arms and beam effect parts for suspending all eight DRAGOON units are not included with this standard edition.

• The large wing backpack requires additional shelf space when fully deployed.

• The included stand is recommended for long-term aerial displays and wide-wing poses.

• This is an older-generation Master Grade originally released in 2006, so its engineering and surface detail differ from newer MG and MGEX releases.

• Dry-transfer decals, marking stickers and foil stickers are included; water-slide decals are not included.

• Product images may show a professionally assembled, panel-lined or painted sample.

• A hobby nipper is recommended for removing parts cleanly from the runners.

• Handle the wing connections, DRAGOON units and gold-coloured frame parts carefully during assembly and posing.

The MG Strike Freedom Gundam remains one of the most recognisable display pieces from the Gundam SEED era. Its combination of an exposed gold-coloured frame, enormous Super DRAGOON wings and sharp white-and-navy armour gives it a strong shelf presence even before additional detailing is applied.

The wing deployment is the centrepiece of the build, while the combining beam rifles, movable rail cannons and included display stand provide plenty of options for recreating aerial combat and full-firepower poses.

Although the Full Burst Mode and MGEX editions offer additional premium effects or finishes, this standard MG release delivers the essential Strike Freedom design, weapons and transformation gimmicks in a more accessible package. It is an excellent choice for collectors who want the classic 1/100 Strike Freedom experience without paying for edition-specific effect parts.
