Overview

RG Evangelion Unit-00 (Prototype) continues the Real Grade Evangelion series, focusing on a more realistic interpretation of the humanoid structure.

This release emphasizes articulation and mechanical movement, featuring a detailed internal structure that replicates the spine and shoulder blade motion. The armor parts move in coordination with the joints, and the arms include a twisting mechanism where the armor follows the motion naturally.

The kit supports both pre-refurbishment and post-refurbishment configurations through part selection. The head is constructed with fine part separation for accurate color reproduction.

Equipment from Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone can also be assembled, allowing multiple display options.

The RG Evangelion line feels quite different from standard Gunpla. The articulation is designed more like a human body rather than a machine.

Unit-00 is less weapon-heavy compared to other units, but the appeal comes from the movement and proportions. The ability to build both versions also adds some flexibility.
